| Dr. Vladamir Rankovic moved to
Florida and has been with Florida electrophysiology Associates since summer
2002. Dr. Rankovic's
family is Serbian and immigrated to the United States when he was 1.
Dr. Rankovic grew up in New York and latter moved to the midwest. Dr.
Rankovic went to college at Ohio State University with a major in electrical
and biomedical engineering. Dr. Rankovic stayed at Ohio State for
medical school and then moved to Northwestern University in Chicago.
Dr. Rankovic completed his residency in internal medicine and his cardiology
fellowship at Northwestern and remained there for advanced training in
electrophysiology. Although he had previously lived in New York and
the midwest, Dr. Rankovic used to work for IBM and lived in the Boca Raton
area prior to his residency. He has a particular interest in therapies to
prevent sudden death and new pacing techniques. He is board certified
in internal medicine, cardiology and clinical cardiac electrophysiology.
In his spare time, Dr. Rankovic enjoys computers, running and playing the
guitar. . |
